WAHM with washable nappies

by Ann

Being a work at home mum, I opted for washable nappies.

I was home 24/7, and could nip and put the washing out when the machine had finished, and was
there to dash and get it in, when it spitted with rain.

We made the choice though financially, as with only one income coming in, we felt that this was going
to keep our costs minimal.

Worked great with child 1, but child 2 grew a lot quicker and a lot bigger! So the one size nappies he soon grew out of.

He's now in disposables, as at 2 and half, I can't envisage him being in nappies an awful lot longer, especially when trundles down to the toilet to sit on the Potty, with his nappy still on!
